Run by a small group of Cambridge locals, students and graduates, who set up the festival in 2014 as a ‘garden-party’ style event, this spectacle has exceeded expectations.
The independent music festival Strawberries & Creem is returning for its fourth year on the June 17 - having started life as a baby strawberry with a mere 1000 festival goers, this year it's offering tickets to over 10,000 attendees.
The team’s ambitions are fuelled by a desire to prove that their young, independent festival can thrive in a tricky, competitive climate - without the help of corporate investment.
A juxtaposition of the refined Cambridge traditions, including a ‘Banquet Area’ offering an unparalleled array of food traders and cuisines from across Cambridgeshire and beyond - so much so: it could be a food festival in it’s own right!
A music festival arising in the heart of tranquil Cambridge, combining the refined traditions with a new wave of grime and roots music.
